The Montessori Adolescent Program (MAP) is a St. Louis-based nonprofit secondary school devoted to providing an equitable, student-led Montessori education to students from diverse backgrounds.

Supporting this mission requires financial contributions from benefactors. This video aims to educate the community about MAP’s history and the important place the school holds in the city’s educational landscape.

DigiCert

Campaign: Device Trust for Medical Devices

Audience: CISOs and IoT device architects

Opportunity: Medical device manufacturers need scalable solutions to address heightened security risks, stricter FDA regulations, and shrinking budgets.

Proposition: DigiCert Device Trust Manager empowers customers to comply with regulatory prerequisites while furnishing them with scalable implementation tools to manage the challenge of device sprawl.

Our ultimate goal for this campaign was to drive customers to adopt Device Trust. We delivered information in bite-sized pieces to educate the audience and build confidence in the DigiCert brand.

The campaign included a webinar series, emails, gated assets, digital ads, and an informational hub page that used copy and assets to tell the Device Trust story—from problem to solution.

Blog: The Keys to Unlocking Secure, Sustainable EV Charging

In September 2023, I took over ownership of the DigiCert blog with two key goals: 1) increase readership, and 2) elevate the content.

Since stepping into this new editorial role, I’ve divided my time between editing and optimizing our existing articles and curating new content that speaks to the topics our audience is most interested in.

Sometimes that means interviewing SMEs and acting as ghostwriter. Sometimes it means coaching contributors to find the thought-leadership potential hidden within often highly technical topics.

The article previewed here is an example of ghostwritten content. Tasked with crafting a blog post to complement an upcoming press release, I realized that the proposed material would be far too dry and in-the-weeds technical for a more general audience. So I sat down with our SME, paying close attention to the topics that really put a sparkle in his eye.

The end result was this article that approached the news from the human side—because even at a tech company, it’s people who drive the work we do.

Lenny’s Podcast

Blog: The Power of Internal Linking for SEO

Lenny Rachitsky is an investor and entrepreneur who interviews product leaders and growth experts on Lenny’s Podcast. Hoping to gain more listeners and newsletter subscribers, Lenny commissioned a three-part blog series to turn some of his best interviews into informative articles.

Here’s a preview of my ghostwritten article about Lenny’s interview with SEO guru Ethan Smith.

Grindr

Blog: 12 Fun and Sexy First-Date Questions

***Warning: This one’s NSFW!***

Is it a bad idea to include a racy Grindr blog in my professional portfolio? Probably. But if you’ve got the stomach for it, this article will give you a taste of my range.

Grindr’s voice is edgy, raunchy, and funny. And if you’ve ever tried writing humor, you know it’s much easier said than done.

But the real challenge here was being a woman writing from the perspective of a gay man—without patronizing my audience.

I tapped into my fiction-writing skills for this one, embodying a persona to create a convincing voice. The piece made the Grindr team laugh, and that’s a win in my book.

About Me

I’m a firm believer in the tremendous power of storytelling.

That’s what led me from the Midwest to Oregon, where I earned my MFA in Creative Writing in 2015.

And it’s what guides the content and copywriting I do today, from 60-character headlines to 1500-word blogs to video scripts to novels.

Acronyms like “SEO” and “AI” make a lot of my fellow creatives shake their fists. But I’m all about embracing the future to see what kind of magic can come from pairing talent with technology.
